Well, there's always the weather ...

The past few days we've been having a cold spell (averaging around minus 20 degrees Celsius) ... truthfully though we really don't know the meaning of the word "cold" here in southern Ontario. Nonetheless, I guess it is cold for us since we're not used to it. Actually, what gets me more than anything is the high humidity and cold temperature combined ~ it chills you right through the bones. Amazingly, we still have snow, not a lot but a nice covering. Most winters the snow comes and goes more but for now it's hanging on. So, there's our weather report for you today :) .... I am just ever-so thankful we didn't lose hydro like some 22,000 people in Toronto last night!

Yeah, that's not quite as cold as it's been here... -30 plus windchill. But apparently we are in for some warmer weather... -1!!!

We've had some really nasty cold days the last couple of weeks (a number of days dipping down to minus 39 and minus 45-50 with windchill) But we are told 'we can take it, after all we're Manitobans'. This morning going to work it was only minus 10 Celcius and coming home it was plus 1!! WOW (';') Blessings
