The Greatest Gift!

I can't believe I am just one year away from the BIG Four-0! Today when I think of my Birthday it's only because it causes me to think of God our Creator who blesses us with life. One doesn't often think back to when they were a baby, mostly because we can't remember that far ... but we all know how excited & thrilled we are at the birth of a baby, realizing the incredible blessing and the precious beauty of life that we as Christians know only comes from God. Without Him we would not exist ... without Him there is NO life! He is not only the giver but also the taker of life ~ this may be hard to accept and understand but for me knowing this gives me great comfort and peace. God is in control. I am just so thankful to God my heavenly Father for giving me life not only in the physical but spiritually as well ~ eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ. To know that I have a purpose here on earth, a purpose to love and serve Him and to know that I am in His sovereign eternal loving hands ... this is the greatest gift ever and I praise God!!!
